Environmental Learning Center

Opening Spring of 2013, this educational exhibit is situated on the site of the Hyperion Waste Treatment facility. Designed for visiting students from the City of Los Angeles, it aims to explain the entire waste stream from curbside pickup to disposal and repurposing of recycled waste. This initiative is an important part of the city’s role as a world leader in strategies to become waste-free by the year 2030.
