Explore-a-Saurus

Explore-a-Saurus  is Boston Children’s Museum’s first-ever hands-on exhibit about dinosaurs. This traveling exhibit aims to inspire young visitors with the idea that scientists infer detailed information and form compelling hypotheses by studying the evidence they find: in this case fossils and footprints tell us about the appearance and behavior of these remarkable, long-extinct animals.

The exhibit features two large custom painted scenic murals, an animatronic Dilophosaurus, build-your-own foam dinosaur bones and a mobile of flying acrylic Pteranodons.

This project involved a rehab of an existing exhibit plus creating many new components and devising an all new look-and-feel. I was the sole designer for all of the new work.
