Native Voices
This exhibit explores the contemporary culture of five New England Native American nations. It returned to Boston Children’s Museum after traveling regionally and we determined it needed new and more engaging activities.
Among the components we developed were a giant weave-your-own basket (beautifully made of solid ash), immersive floor graphics, puzzles about weaving and printing and a contoured felt “beach” where visitors can find lobsters, clams and seaweed and make their own clambake.
