What’s for Dinner?

This exhibit is deployed across three areas of the museum and addresses the ways in which we get our food, prepare it and eat it. The objective is to encourage families to be mindful about food and to recognize that shopping, cooking and eating are excellent opportunities for everyone to participate and share these experiences together.

In the lunchroom we developed a series of tabletop activities, fun tabletop graphics and a “peekaboo mouse house” of empty food crates occupied by toy mice arranged in amusing tableaux.
